Nicole West-Hayles is an integrated socio-economic development practitioner with over 15 years of experience in the Caribbean Region. She specialises in evidenced-based communications design, implementation, and measurement; community engagement; participatory planning and research, impact assessment, as well as grant writing. She has led several initiatives working on numerous international donor partner-funded projects. Nicole developed a rare blend of skills set working at every entry point of the project management cycle on issues involving climate change, disaster risk reduction, resilience, agriculture, justice, security including cross-cutting matters of social inclusion, gender, youth and livelihoods. She boasts strong analytical abilities, technical report writing capabilities and has honed skills in business strategy, marketing, brand management and the production and implementation of events. She holds a Master of Arts Degree in Communications For Social and Behaviour Change (University of the West Indies); a Post-Graduate Diploma in Social Justice and Community Action (Edinburgh University) as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree with Honours in Administrative Management (University of Technology, Jamaica).
