I am a global development and sustainability executive and leader with 30 years of international and US experience addressing the world’s critical energy and infrastructure, economic development, resilience, and other sustainability challenges. I have worked and collaborated with the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and multiple other US Federal agencies, multilateral financial institutions, UN agencies, donor agencies, national and local governments, NGOs, and the private sector to advise on national and local policy, shape economic development, mobilize and catalyze project financing ($1.2 billion to date), forge international coalitions and partnerships, build technical capacity, and advance thought leadership to achieve real, transformative impact. ● Global Experience: Extensive global, regional, and country-level project experience driving impactful sustainability initiatives in more than 30 countries in Asia and the Pacific, the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Americas, with 18 years based in the Asia-Pacific region. ● Management and Operational Experience: Dynamic leader with a 20-year track record of demonstrated strategic vision, dedication, and adaptability managing multi-disciplinary and diverse teams and overseeing projects from inception to completion, often in complex environments. ● Technical Experience: Clean energy, decarbonization and low emission strategies, climate resilience, climate financing, economic development, green economy, disaster management, green cities and buildings, natural resources management, biodiversity, environmental and social safeguards (ESS), air quality, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), and gender equity and social inclusion (GESI). ● Applied Knowledge: Environmental law and policy, international law and policy, greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, long-term mitigation strategies and pathways, climate and disaster resilience, UNFCCC processes and national policy frameworks, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), public speaking, communications, thought leadership, capacity building, and business development. ● Business Development (BD) and Fundraising: Led and supported BD and fundraising initiatives across consulting, intergovernmental, and NGO employers since the late 1990s, helping secure $300+ million in contract vehicles, contracts, and grants from government and other funders.
