As a sustainability executive with 30 years of international and US experience, I have consistently delivered transformative, results-driven projects and programs advancing policy change, mobilizing financing, and building capacity to overcome environmental, energy, climate, disaster risk, and economic development challenges. I have worked with government, multilateral, private sector, and non-governmental organizations, and spent 17 years based in Asia and one year in the Pacific. Notable achievements include directly advising national governments on climate and development strategies, leading complex multi-country US Government programs, mobilizing more than $1B in financing, developing California’s first corporate climate reporting platform, and launching and leading multilateral and private sector partnerships globally, across the Asia-Pacific region, and in China. ● Global Experience: Extensive global, regional, and country-level experience driving impactful sustainability initiatives, including projects in 25 countries in Asia and the Pacific, the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Americas. ● Management Experience: Proven track record managing multi-disciplinary and diverse teams and overseeing complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring strategic vision, dedication, and adaptability in dynamic environments. ● Technical Experience: Deep knowledge in clean energy, climate mitigation and resilience, climate financing, economic development, green economy and green growth, resilience and disaster risk reduction, green cities, biodiversity conservation, natural resources management, environmental and social safeguards (ESS), air quality, water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), and gender equity and social inclusion (GESI). ● Specialized Skills: Greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, long-term mitigation strategies and pathways development, UNFCCC processes and national policy frameworks (e.g., Long-Term Low Emission Development Strategies (LEDS), Nationally Determined Contributions, National Adaptation Plans), public speaking, thought leadership, communications, capacity building, and business development.
