I possess over 25 years’ experience in advancing social development in Trinidad and Tobago, Belize, Jamaica, and the UK. Through data analysis I have developed in-school interventions to further academic achievement, reduce exclusions and advance intercultural understandings; designed interventions on HIV prevention and violence reduction for out-of-school youth in a variety of settings; led the development of national policies including child labour, citizen security, youth, gender, and parenting. Further, I have managed policy implementation, monitoring and evaluation; pilot project design and; made integral contributions to various studies including a rapid assessment of government youth services, a national child poverty and disparities study, and a national prevalence survey on violence against women.
