I serve as the Director of the AgReach Program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and I am the Principal Investigator on two USAID-funded awards in the area of agricultural and nutrition extension: INGENAES and SANE. I am an economist and extension specialist with expertise in project development and management, project and policy evaluation, monitoring, agricultural development, health economics, nutrition, food security, health policy, econometrics, extension programs, higher education, capacity building, and agricultural and food policy. I am an associate professor at the University of Illinois and I serve as a visiting faculty member at Njala University in Sierra Leone. Since 1982 I have been involved in international development in a variety of roles in education, research, extension, business, and development.
