Rachel Benavides is a professional with over 12 years of experience in international development research and project management, as well as grants and contracts management. She has supported and managed contracts, grants, donations, and cooperative agreements funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), The U.S. Department of State, Global Affairs Canada, the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the World Bank, and a variety of private foundations and corporations such as Google and Facebook. She has a Master of Science with Distinction in International Development from the University of Edinburgh, and a dual BA in International Relations and History from the College of William and Mary. She is a native English speaker and has intermediate proficiency in French.
