Rachel Chute

A seasoned manager, with experience creating and improving systems, developing and training staff, and pursuing and winning new business, I have spent my career focusing on building relationships. I am a strong communicator, who takes great pride in making connections, establishing essential processes, finding efficiencies in the work that I am doing, and mentoring staff. I have spent the last 18 years working in the international development space as the head of Business Development at both for-profit and non-profit firms. I have created and refined proposal processes, uncovered new clients and funding opportunities, trained staff in government policies and regulations, and pursued hundreds of opportunities totaling over $3 Billion dollars. I began my career working in the United States Senate and at a Washington, D.C.-based think tank, on a variety of tasks, including constituent relations, project management, and organizational development, all of which required strong communication and relationship building skills.
