I was born in Kenya where I was raised and educated until I completed my Advanced Levels (A Levels). I then moved to England in 2007, where I earned an undergraduate degree in Medicine, graduating in 2012. I then completed two years of the Foundation Training Programme in England (2012 – 2014) and a clinical internship at Kenyatta National Hospital, Nairobi (2014 – 2015). I developed a passion for a career targeted at the improved health status of all Kenyans through health promotion and disease prevention during my experience working at Kenyatta National Hospital. I therefore pursued and earned a Diploma in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene (2015) and a Masters in International Public Health (2015 – 2016). Since 2016, I have worked as a technical officer for a community health services program in Kitui, Migori and Nairobi Counties concerned with quality improvement with a goal of improving maternal and child health outcomes.
