Renato is an energy access specialist with more over 12 years' experience in development cooperation and technical assistance, with strong technical capacity and ability to design and implement electrification projects for non-interconnected rural areas. Renato has been responsible for project and fund management of multiple solar and biomass energy projects Latin America and the Caribbean, and has provided technical advice to public authorities by performing technical and economic comparative analysis, proposing enabling regulatory and policy instruments for access to energy projects and by training local communities in project management thus guaranteeing the sustainability of renewable energy projects. Renato has worked in over 10 countries of Latin America supporting public authorities, NGOs and multi and bi lateral institutions as project manager, and technical coordinator. Renato has a BA in Electronics, Automation and Control Engineering, a Master Executive in Renewable Energies, a Master in Sustainable Environmental Management, and a diploma in Project Management.
