I have been in legal profession for more than fifteen (15) years and a practicing advocate based in Tanzania and Zanzibar for ten (10) years I'm also a registered practicing counsel for International Criminal Court (ICC), UN-International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (IRMCT), African Court on Human and Peoples Rights (AfCHPR), High Court of Tanzania and High Court of Zanzibar. For the five years from 2016 to 2021 I was a civil servant employed by the Government of Tanzania in the capacity of District Executive Director for Igunga District Council responsible for development projects and election matters. From February, 2021 to May, 2023 I worked as a Principal State Attorney with the Ministry of Constitutional and Legal Affairs of Tanzania where I was involved in handling constitutional matters and justice monitoring. Briefly, I'm skilled in civil and criminal law, international criminal justice, humanitarian and human rights law, mediation, arbitration and constitution law just a few to mention.
