As Programme Director, established local WSUP teams in both Kenya and Zambia over 7 year period, leading on many water, sanitation, institutional, behaviour change and capacity building innovations; innovations now being adopted under IFI funding. Most recent work includes: (1) Tanzania FSM planning in 3 towns on behalf of GIZ and local urban authorities, (2) Team Leader for both the Ethiopia One WASH National Program Phase 2 and Integrated Urban Sanitation and Hygiene Strategy and Strategic Action Plan, Ethiopia, on behalf of Govt of Ethiopia ministries and UNICEF, (3) Ethiopia Sululta urban WASH planning on behalf of IFRC, (4) Team Leader Pakistan UNICEF national WASH strategy, (5) 26 Africa city profiles and CSR WASH investment potential and risks where ABinBEV has breweries, with focus on sustainable water supply for low income urban communities
