At programme level, he has implemented Democracy, Human Rights, Governance, Electoral and Peace & Security programmes for 18 years .Phiri holds MSc (Public Policy/Development Administration) (UK), LLB (Hon)(UK), Bachelor of Commerce, Business Administration(MW), Diploma in Business Studies(MW), Certificate in Applied Conflict Transformation (Action Centre, RSA), AU Certificate on Ethics, and Certificate in Human Rights, Project Evaluation (Denmark) .
