Transitional justice and human rights researcher, working on truth commissions, truth recovery and accountability after atrocity crimes. Previous experience with remand detention, bail and prisoner rights; as well as refugee advocacy and communications. Field experience in Southern Africa. Skills include: high-level research and policy development; strategic focus and communications (writing for diverse audiences, editing, presenting); managing diverse stakeholder groups and finding common ground inside complex environments. Holder of a first class Master’s degree in International Conflict from King’s College (London); and a PhD in transitional justice from the Dickson Poon School of Law (King's College, London). I work between the UK and South Africa, and am open to opportunities worldwide.
