Mr Roger McIntyre is an experienced International Environmental Specialist and some Social/Resettlement Specialist with a demonstrated history (over 30 years since 1989) of working in the environmental services industry, in over 22 countries in Asia (Southeast, Central and South), Pacific and Australia, and Africa, with several financing agencies (ADB, AFD, AIIB, WB & IFC, EC, MCC, JICA, KfW and others). Skilled in Environmental Management, Engineering and Safeguards, Health and Safety, Emergency Management, Rural Development, Environmental Awareness, Natural Resource Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, Project Performance Management/Monitoring and Institutional development and Capacity building. He has experience in several infrastructure and other sectors: Water and Irrigation; Roads and Highways; Power transmission, distribution, substations, hydro-power and thermal/Gas power combined cycle generation, and some in green energy power generation; oil and gas; water and sanitation; water-shed (catchment / basin) management; and disaster management. Roger has University qualifications from Australia’ and Internationally recognized Universities: Master (and Graduate Diploma) of Environmental Management and Development from Australian National University, Canberra; Master of Emergency Management from Charles Sturt University (NSW) and Bachelor of Applied Science (Systems Agriculture) from University of Western Sydney (now Western Sydney University).
