Climate change and international development professional with over 16 years experience in advancing climate resilience and adaptation planning globally, leading and delivering climate change related project engagements with public, private and civil society. Specialised in climate finance readiness, having secured over US$5M in grants working with small island developing states (SIDS) and least developed countries (LDCs) to develop and advance national project pipelines of more than US$200 million, spanning climate smart agriculture, fisheries, water security, nature-based solutions, climate resilient development and coastal resilience. Currently embedded within Government of Kiribati as Director, Climate Finance Division, driving strategic initiatives to enhance climate finance access and capacity-building efforts. Expertise in fostering partnerships, delivering impactful workshops, and shaping climate policies aligned with international climate goals.
