Said Jafarli

I am a research economist in profession and work as a consultant, expert, and/or researcher at international and national organizations, research institutions, and companies. I have worked or working for projects implemented or sponsored by, for example, UN agencies, European Union, Asian Development Bank and USAID. These projects were on Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Malaysia, Russia, Kazakhstan and at regional level. I also have an experience with consultancy companies, universities and NGOs. I mostly work on topics related to international trade and economic development with side interests in women's economic empowerment and topics related to sustainable development. I have authored, co-authored or contributed to tens of reports, booklets, briefs and information notes; created several databases/datasets, designed and implemented surveys; delivered seminars, workshops and training to professionals and government officials; organized or assisted in organization of several national or international-level events; participated as an invited speaker, panelist or moderator in several international or national events.
