I have 25 years experience in agriculture. Over the last 10 years I have been and continue to work on dairy development projects in Asia and South America. I have been involved in design, technical leadership and programme management as well as M&E at project and programme level. My skills are in dairy development and agricultural extension with a focus on low cost systems that are sustainable and inclusive and generate profit for beneficiaries and their communities. I speak English and have working knowledge of Spanish. I was until recently Chief Technical Advisor and M&E Lead of MITA - Myanmar Industry Training Activity (MFAT NZ funded project in Myanmar) and then GM Extension (Farm Performance) for DairyNZ in New Zealand. I am now looking to broaden my experience with further short-term consulting opportunities.
