Climate Resilience | Project Management | Partnership and Capacity Building Mr. Shakil is a skilled environmental and climate change specialist with approximately 12 years of experience in project management within the international development sector. He has proven strength in climate resilience, climate finance, sustainability, environmental compliance, natural resources management, partnership development, stakeholder management, and capacity building. Shakil has a robust educational background in engineering, governance, and sustainable finance. He is recognized as an effective communicator, facilitator, and people manager. Over the last ten years, Shakil has managed a diverse portfolio of approximately fifteen technical assistance and grant projects, with a total budget of around $175 million and involving approximately 1,000 staff. He advised the USAID/Bangladesh Mission on the transformative change in policy, finance, and governance landscapes for climate resilience. Shakil also managed the Mission's flagship localization projects to advance the agency's locally led development objectives.
