My professional experience includes 35 years working in over 50 countries with more than 40 clients, in quality assurance, monitoring and evaluation (M&E), emergency management, humanitarian assistance, and creating strategies and policies for recovery, development and disaster risk reduction. Evaluation work has encompassed topics such as education, governance, capacity building of national management systems, post-conflict needs assessment, gender equality, law and legal systems, nutrition, reproductive health, emergency response, food assistance, migration and resettlement, early warning systems, UN reform, and shelter assistance. Evaluation capacity development activities include assessment of M&E strategies and capacities, use of geographic and performance data, survey design, participatory dialog workshops, and M&E training.
