With a strong foundation in international development having earned a Ph.D. from the Land Tenure Center and my many years of experience in diverse professional and cultural contexts, my recent endeavors have centered on fostering environmental sustainability and advocating for the rights of indigenous communities. The heart of my mission lies in bridging the gaps between policy and practice, ensuring that the voices of the most marginalized are not just heard but acted upon. I have a demonstrated track record providing high-quality social and political analysis and program assessment activities and findings for more effective and impactful development outcomes, strategy and program development, project design, and evaluation. I have proven experience assisting and implementing different components of development projects for NGOs and donor agencies. I have led on promoting more active civil society participation, local community development, social inclusion and equity, more transparent and responsive governance, and the human rights of all peoples. I have worked extensively over the last decade which included working with the World Bank, Ford Foundation, many local NGOs, the EU, Save the Children) as an advocate for Indigenous people's communities and territories in the Amazon and Chaco regions, the integration of social and cultural dimensions of sustainable land, forest and water management, response to climate change, and support for increased public investment for excluded children and youth. I am a long-term resident in Bolivia, with extensive experience across the LAC region, as well as previous experience in Africa and Asia.
