Summary

During my career, I participated in preparation of several country and regional strategies for Sweden’s development cooperation with Serbia and the Western Balkans, and in 2015, I conducted a mid-term evaluation of the strategy implemented at that time in Serbia. With regards to gender equality, I developed annual gender action plans and I am closely monitoring and reporting on situation regarding gender equality in Serbia. Reporting on progress of Serbia with regards to implementation of the Istanbul convention, other international treaties as well as national strategies and action plans is part of my duties. Over several years, I mastered my skills in political reporting and political analyses, focused on Serbia and Western Balkans. My analyses and expertise include influence of wider geopolitical processes on this region. I base my analyses on regular follow-up of political processes (including elections), my long-term experience and deep knowledge of relevant sectors and understanding of the key drivers of change. I prepare plans and conduct dialogue with my project partners aiming to influence changes and enhance reform processes. This dialogue includes government representatives and members of international community. I conducted several procurements of consulting services – from the small ones (short-term assignments) to those that envisaged implementation of long-term and big programs, applying both Swedish and the EU procurement procedures. In several instances, I was a member of the Embassy’s communication group. I participated in development and implementation of the Communication Strategy and its Action Plan. While working at this position, I mostly cooperate with government institutions and international partners. Over the years, I facilitated establishment of partnerships between Serbian and Swedish institutions in the areas of statistics, labor market, land administration and local governance.
