Sosten Reneck Yobe Lingwalanya is a Trained Tourism Destination Management, Marketing and Tourism Planning Expert and Economist with both local, regional and international experience for both the public and private sector clients and organizations. Recent project was on the Zambezi River Environmental Outlook on Tourism with an analysis and trends for Zambezi River basin tourism trends, impacts and prospects; With over 23 years' experience working in the public tourism sector and part time as a Consultant he specializes in Tourism Investment planning, Tourism Destination Marketing and Promotion, Strategic Planning and Policy for Sustainable Tourism Development and has actively participated in the development of Malawi's tourism plans from 2000- to date. Between 2004-6 he worked on the Infrastructure Services Project to determine and assess various development corridors in Malawi for economic opportunities some of which have now been implemented including the Cape Maclear corridor. He has worked on pioneer projects for Malawi tourism including the 2003-8 Tourism Master Plan and the 2008-15 Strategic Tourism Plan, a number of other public and private sector projects and clients locally and within Southern Africa.
