Suzan LABIB

Suzan is a professional international development expert and export promoter. She currently leads the employment promotion team within GIZ Egypt. Her previous roles included managing a Swiss funded social entrepreneurship project in Egypt and serving as the Senior Adviser for Market Information and Linkages at USAID's SEED project assisting MSMEs get integrated into value-chains. Before moving to the development sector, she was the Business Development Manager at the exhibition giant, Informa Markets. Suzan started her career working at prominent embassies enhancing international business and trade as the Senior Policy Officer for Economic & Trade Affairs at the Embassy of the Netherlands in Cairo and an Adviser, Trade & Investment at the British Embassy Cairo for more than 12 years advising British companies on developing / establishing their business in Egypt and the Korean Trade & Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) as a Marketing Manager. KOTRA is the Commercial Office of the Korean Embassy. Suzan holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Maastricht School of Management (the Netherlands), a Project Management Diploma and an Advanced Certificate in Trade from the Institute of Export (UK). She originally graduated from the Faculty of Commerce and Business Administration.
