Tom has over 10 years of rich experience from within and outside Uganda on conflict and peace research focusing on Land, extractives, Women, Peace and Security(WPS), humanitarian assistance, monitoring and evaluation, social and participatory research, conflict and gender analysis He has also worked on post conflict contexts by informing programming in Liberia, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya and South Sudan. Tom possess a Masters of Arts in Peace building and Conflict studies from Makerere, PGD in Monitoring and Evaluation from Uganda Management Institute, certifications in Gender inclusion in peacebuilding, PCVE, Managing responsible land based Investments, Conflict analysis and mediation in violent conflicts from United States Institute of Peace and has been a visiting Professional at Landesa -Seattle, United States Peace Corps an Atlas Fellow and Africa Centre for the Constructive Resolution of Disputes (ACCORD). He has published on Conflicts, Land and Development. Tom has visited and worked in Uganda, South Africa, China, United States of America, Kenya, Ghana, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Tanzania and Germany.
