I possess 17 years of Grants and Programme Management experience with a strong interest in humanitarian response and development management across-sectoral programmes including health, HIV & AIDS, environmental protection, civil society engagement, community development, policy coordination, gender integration and aid effectiveness. I have experience working with Civil society organizations, government entities, international organizations while coordinating project implementation, strategic planning, sub award management processes, building partnerships with key stakeholders, project tracking, supervision of projects as well as providing financial oversight and staff management. For the past 2 years and 7 months I worked with the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) to support the Government of Indonesia (GOI) in building and strengthening the institutional capacity to be able to restore 2.49 million hectares of degraded peatlands and mangroves. The Government of Indonesia through Presidential Regulation No 1/2016 constituted the Peatland Restoration Agency (BRGM) to prevent forest fires, especially in peatland areas. UNOPS therefore served as the Fund Manager for the overall project, providing strategic oversight for all aspects of the project implemented through UNOPS procedures. My role therefore supported the Fund Management Office in providing funding, managing contracts, awards and grant disbursement according to UNOPS policy. Up to the closure of the programme, successfully supported a Grant Portfolio with an amount totalling $13.7m and Contract amount of $11.2m.
