I have been in the field of GIS and Remote sensing for over 20 years. Have worked in the industry with ESRI India, ERDAS India, Reliance Energy. I have also worked from 2007 to 2018 in Afghanistan on long and short term assignments with various USAID and ADB projects. Currently I am pursuing my Doctoral research at the Chair of Land Management, Technical University of Munich, on Urban land use planning with land use developments in the conflict affected countries with Afghanistan as my case study.
