I hold a master's in applied science (Medical Science) from RMIT University, Melbourne, Australia, bachelor's degree in medical technology from Norfolk, Virginia, USA, Professional certificate in project management from university of Adelaide, Certificate in Advanced Health Management Programme from FPD/Yale School of Public Health, training in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from Harvard School of Public Health. Additionally, I have completed the following trainings: International project management, Health Systems Strengthening, grants and cooperative agreement management, Use of Framework for Public Health Evaluation, Quality management, Biosafety and Biosecurity. I have more than 19 years' experience working as a public health professional and mostly in communicable diseases such as HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, and other microbiological infections in routine settings as well as responding to public health emergencies. Over the years I have gained the following competences, skills and expertise, supply chain management, procurement, health product regulation, development of health policies, strategies, quality assurance policies, health project management, partner coordination and collaboration, partner management, donor relations, budget management, resources management, monitoring, and evaluation of projects progress against targets.
