Sub-Saharan Africa economist and policymaker with a long track record of advising governments in the region and globally on economic and development finance policies in various capacities. I currently lead the development policy advisory and research function at UNDP Ethiopia. I have also held positions with the UK’s Department for International Development, where I implemented bilateral aid programmes; Moody’s Investor’s Service, where I rated African sovereign bond issuers; and the United Nations, where I advised governments on development financing policies.
