Summary

Xiaochu Hu is currently working on her doctoral dissertation evaluating the impact of immigration on metropolitan areas’ economic growth in the United States. Her research interests include regional economic development, labor markets and immigration policies. Xiaochu received the 2012-13 Philip Dearborn Doctoral Research Fellowship from Economic Club of Washington and holds a MA in Geography, a MPA and a BS in Computer Science.
