The post-2015 agenda will affect the way the European Commission’s Directorate General for Development Cooperation operates, but linking themes and developing stronger, focused programming should improve their role.
The large community of implementers that work with EuropeAid should find it easier to orient themselves as well as find answers to where country offices remain the first port of call with redefined programming, said Marcus Cornaro, deputy director general of geographic programs at EuropeAid.
Devex Editor Rolf Rosenkranz sat down for an exclusive interview with Cornaro at the 2013 European Development Days in Brussels to discuss these and other thoughts on what’s new on the regional level with EuropeAid.
Cornaro confirmed that EuropeAid is moving into a new paradigm in development in the post-2015 agenda. Watch the video to find out more about major program changes.
