Job Description

ABA ROLI’s Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Division has an opportunity for an unpaid intern to support the division’s rule of law programs and new business efforts through research, material development, and analysis of project performance and rule of law thematic areas across MENA countries. The intern will work with MENA’s DC-based and field staff and have opportunities to participate in meetings and learning sessions with other ROLI divisions. Research assignments will focus on current programming and funding opportunities in areas such as human rights, gender equity, political transitions, criminal law, and access to justice.

Relevant Program/Area of Study:

· International Development, law, international relations, political science, or related field.

Additional Desired Qualifications:

· Arabic or French language skills

· Previous MENA work or study experience.

· Previous experience working for an international or domestic NGO/non-profit.
