Job Description

Duration: 6 months

Job Description – CVAC Intern Reporting Line

The selected candidate will work under the general supervision of the CVAC Team Leader. The intern will periodically provide updates and feedback on assigned tasks and will receive guidance on goal-setting and problem-solving related to customer service.

Purpose of the Internship

The internship aims to:

  • Develop and enhance general professional skills.
  • Strengthen interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Build expertise in management and customer service.
Key Responsibilities

The intern will be expected to:

  • Provide accurate information on various visa types and migration programs.
  • Assist clients in completing visa and related forms.
  • Review and process visa applications and supporting documentation.
  • Carry out quality control processes to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Draft reports as required.
  • Handle personal and confidential information with discretion.
  • Perform biometrics enrolments for visa applicants.
  • Coordinate security-related matters with the IOM Security Officer.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the CVAC Team Leader.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in, or recently graduated from, a Bachelor’s degree program in humanities, administration, international relations, or related fields.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Basic computer literacy (MS Office applications).
Experience (Optional / Desirable)
  • Previous experience in customer service, administration, or office support is a plus.
