The Role
The Chief Economic and Fiscal Policy is an in-line senior management position within the Treasury Division, Department of Finance. At the same time, the Chief will be part of, and supported by, the Program team and will contribute to the Program’s end-of-program and intermediate outcomes, which are aligned with the NSDS. About You
You are an experienced economist with at least 10 years in senior roles focused on economic and fiscal analysis. You hold a relevant degree, ideally with postgraduate qualifications, and have strong skills in economic modelling, policy development, and communication.
You’re confident leading teams, mentoring staff, and working collaboratively with government and external stakeholders. Experience in the Pacific region or in a developing country’s Treasury or Finance department is a plus.
