Job Description

PAE-REACT is seeking US citizen candidates to nominate to the following seconded position at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) now! Please apply for and/or circulate the following vacancy to your professional network(s).

Chief, Law and Justice Section at the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, a Middle Manager (VNKOSS02313) with a graduate degree in law or law enforcement; with 10+ years of experience in criminal justice and the practice of law, e.g. judges, prosecutors, lawyers, including 3+ years in management and 3-5 years of project management. Post requires knowledge of courtroom proceedings, criminal law and procedure; of international or European law and legal procedure standards and human rights instruments; experience in drafting, editing and commenting legal documents; project and staff management; organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills; professional fluency in English; and demonstrated ability to work with people of different cultural and religious backgrounds, genders, and diverse political views while maintaining impartiality and objectivity. Desirable: previous work experience with international organizations or bilateral donors on human rights and rule of law compliance, in the region and/or field.
