Devex seeks an energetic, personable and motivated individual with good organizational and communications skills to serve as a Communications and Happiness Associate in the office of the President & Editor-in-Chief.

This individual will ensure open communication and dialogue among all Devexers–including through publishing internal news and updates, communicating about HR and administrative issues from holidays to benefits to performance reviews, and maximizing our happiness at work through retreats, activities, online platforms and employee surveys, and other similarly creative outlets. S/he will report to the Chief of Staff to the President & Editor-in-Chief.

What we’ll need from you:

To fit well in this role you must be innovative, diligent, creative and enthusiastic. You know how to see a project through from start to finish, and you are interested in learning about people and figuring out how to help them be their best selves.

You must have writing skills, should find data interesting and be able to listen and solve problems when people ask you for help. You also must have…

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field (Communications, Marketing, Psychology, Human Resources/Business, etc.);
• Communications experience using digital tools
• Experience working with teams in a dynamic office environment
• Excellent written and spoken English

Preferred Qualifications

• Work experience at a cutting-edge company
• A portfolio of communications products you’ve designed and written
• Experience with human resources
