Devex is currently assisting the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) in their search for a Human Resource Specialist for Rewards to be based in Beijing, China.
BACKGROUND
The role is expected to assist and support senior team members in establishing and maintaining a competitive total reward program aligned with the Bank’s total reward strategy, including a focus on the link between performance and reward and designing and administering alternative rewards. The HR Specialist - Rewards will support the researching, analyzing, and administering of the Bank’s Total Rewards Program – compensation, benefits, retirement, and other monetary and non-monetary rewards and recognition programs.
This position belongs to the Human Resources Department/ Performance & Reward Centre of Excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the design and administration of compensation, benefits, and recognition programs.
- Coordinate participation in market surveys and other data collection initiatives, including preparing data submission.
- Provide support to job evaluation, job matching and related benchmarking exercises.
- Provide information and interpretation of performance and reward policies and practices.
- Prepare total rewards reports and assist in the analysis of annual total rewards processes.
- Work collaboratively with HRBPs in providing guidance on non-complex compensation and benefits matters.
- Support the design and build of total rewards change interventions (e.g., communications, training, stakeholder decks etc.).
- Support the annual salary review process.
- Support the review of benefits applications.
- Maintain total rewards communications on the Intranet and provide administrative support/organization of documentation and SharePoint sites.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree specializing in business administration, human resources, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 – 8 years of relevant work experience in compensation and benefits program administration/design, salary surveys, job evaluation, and employee benefits administration is required. A minimum of two (2) years of experience working in an international environment or international organization is desirable.
- Fluent oral and written communication skills in English are required.
- Demonstrable experience working with market-based pay structures and participating in salary surveys.
- Strong numeric and analytical skills – high comfort working with numbers and applying mathematical/statistical formulas.
- Good command of Microsoft Office and web tools, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to adapt to new computer technology. Two or more years of experience working with Human Resource Information Systems is preferred.
- Effective consultative skills and the ability to build strong working relationships; work experience from consulting firm is not required but can be a plus.
- Exemplary interpersonal skills, with the ability to easily interact with all organizational levels.
