The PLF works with DFAT and DEWR to support the administration of the PALM scheme and facilitate opportunities for Australian employers to connect with workers from the Pacific and Timor-Leste. The PLF is managed by Palladium and has been established as a trusted intermediary in supporting Australia-Pacific circular labour mobility.
Role Overview:
The Incountry Recruitment Database Officer will work with the Labour Mobility Engagement Manager and the Pacific Labour Facility to improve data management processes and systems within the PNG Labour Mobility Unit, build data management capacity, and assit with the transition of LMU data to the In-Country Recruitment Database (IRD).
The (IRD) was developed by the Pacific Labour Facility (PLF) to support labour mobility units (LMU’s) manage client registrations, employer recruitments and worker mobilisations under the Australian and New Zealand labour mobility programs. The IRD is customised to each LMU’s policies and processes and is designed to streamline the sharing of knowledge and information between stakeholders in a secure and efficient way. The IRD is hosted in-country and deployed to suit the local technology landscape whilst supported by the PLF.
This position will support the training of all the regional recruitment hubs once the IRD is ready for deployment to the participating districts and provinces.

Successful applicants will be offered an initial contract until 30 June 2023.Salary is competitive and based on the PNG Public Service Position Classification and Grading at Grade 15.
