MSI Balkans Regional Support Services Program

Project Summary:

The Balkans Regional Support Services program provides M&E support to USAID/Missions in the Balkans region.

Position Summary:

MSI is currently seeking an Interpretor to support an upcoming evaluation of a USAID local governance program based in Pristina, Kosovo and the surrounding area. The Interpretor will work alongside the evaluation team to provide high-quality translation services between English and Albanian and Serbian on an as-needed basis during meetings and interviews with key stakeholders. Full-time availability is required from on or about February 24 – March 13, 2020 and the specific work schedule will be developed based on the evaluation teams’ requirements.

Requirements:

  • Provide interpretation support for meetings and interviews on an as-needed basis.
  • Interpret between source and target language with accuracy, clarity, and transparency.
  • Follow MSI standards of practice and code of ethics.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience providing interpretation and translation services for international teams.
  • Familiarity with the working environment in Kosovo.
  • Fluency in Serbian, Albanian and English required.
  • Familiary with USAID projects preferred.
