Job Description

Duration: 6 months

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide logistical support for meetings, events, and other activities organized by the office.
  2. Draft minutes and/or take discussion notes or short informative summaries during meetings and events.
  3. Assist with partner communication, including sending invitations and tracking confirmations.
  4. Attend relevant trainings and thematic roundtables, and actively participate in all capacity-building activities under the UN Diversity Internship Programme.
  5. Support the updating of partnership profiles for major international partners operating in Moldova, with or without local representation.
  6. Assist in updating the profiles of national coordination structures involved in external aid coordination.
  7. Contribute to the production and design of promotional materials, and conduct market research related to communication and visibility services in the local market.
  8. Support the drafting of presentations, one-pagers, social media posts, and newsletter articles.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned by the mentor(s).
Eligibility Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Completion of secondary education.
  • Enrolled in an undergraduate or higher degree program, or graduated within the past two years.
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Comfortable interacting and engaging with others.
  • Languages: Fluency in Romanian (oral and written) is required. A good command of English and/or Russian is an asset.
  • Knowledge of other languages relevant to Moldova—such as Bulgarian, Gagauz, Romani, Ukrainian, or sign language—is a strong advantage.
  • Basic computer literacy, including use of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), file archiving, and online research.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and awareness of the social and ethical considerations of internet use.
