Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administration and Management:
-
- Support the oversight of the daily operations and management of the Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, PowerApps, Dynamics and other related services.
- Manage policy, process and procedure for setups and settings for user accounts, permissions, governance and access controls across the Microsoft 365 tenant
- Ensure compliance with various international and internal organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor system health, performance, and security, and take corrective actions as necessary.
2. Security and Compliance:

- Implement, update and manage security policies and configurations to protect data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Coordinate respond to and mitigate security incidents and breaches.
- Ensure data protection and backup procedures are continuously updated and are functioning correctly.
3. Support and Troubleshooting:

- Provide tier 2 and 3 support for Microsoft 365-related issues and escalate to Microsoft support when necessary.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Microsoft 365 services.
- Assist end-users with technical issues and provide training as needed.
4. Configuration and Optimization:
-
- Configure and optimize Microsoft 365 services to meet business needs and models and improve efficiency.
- Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 licensing and subscriptions.
- Coordinate efforts to develop, maintain and implement best practices for the use of Microsoft 365 tools and services.
5. Integration and Automation:
-
- Integrate Microsoft 365 services with other enterprise systems and applications.
- Automate routine tasks and workflows using PowerShell, Microsoft Power Apps, and other tools.
- Develop and maintain documentation for whole of system configurations, processes, and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in administering Microsoft 365 environments.
- Microsoft 365 100 and 101 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or equivalent certification preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Purview, Defender XDR and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of security principles and practices related to cloud services.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong customer service commitments, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with identity and access management solutions, both Entra and Azure AD.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with hybrid Microsoft 365 and on-premises environments.
- Knowledge of compliance frameworks, such as GDPR, HIPAA, Cyber Security Essentials and SOX.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture method
- Familiarity with Microsoft Intune and device management.
- Familiarity with Data Migration and Journey toward SAAS
- MS-900, MD-101, MS-500 certifications
