We are seeking applications from suitably qualified people for the role of National Facilitator to join our PHAMA Plus team in Solomon Islands. Reporting to the Country Manager, the National Facilitator will be responsible to foster and manage relationships with influential program partners from public, private and
community sectors that are key players in agricultural, horticultural and food export systems. S/he will build awareness and momentum around new business models, promote the investments, share experience and encourage more widespread adoption. S/he will liaise with the Program Support Unit (PSU) to mobilise the necessary support with regard to financial management, procurement, recruitment and other technical and operational support services that can help ensure the intervention is implemented efficiently and effectively.
The successful candidate will hold tertiary qualifications relating to trade, agriculture, science, business, economics or a similar analytical discipline. S/he will have experience implementing or managing market systems development programs and/or complex donor programs.S/he will have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and excellent time management skills. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate commitment to investment effectiveness, gender equality, disability awareness and social inclusion and able to work under pressure.
