About the Role

We are seeking a culturally engaged and purpose-driven Pacific Talent Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in identifying, engaging, and supporting exceptional talent across the Pacific region to strengthen DT Global’s program delivery.

You will be responsible for building robust talent pipelines, designing culturally responsive recruitment strategies, and strengthening DT Global’s reputation as an employer of choice across the Pacific. With a positive and innovative approach, you will apply your creativity in attracting talent, connecting with communities, and contributing meaningfully to the region.

This position will ideally be Suva-based but open to all applications in the Pacific region.

About You

• Duties and essential requirements for this role will include: Support program recruitment across the Pacific, collaborating with program teams to identify talent needs, manage candidate communications, and ensure timely and compliant recruitment and selection processes

• Build and maintain a dynamic network and database of Pacific-based professionals to support current and future program resourcing needs

• Design and implement culturally responsive recruitment strategies tailored to Pacific contexts, anchored in Pacific values such as va (relationships) and talanoa (dialogue)

• Lead efforts to strengthen DT Global’s brand recognition across the Pacific, including tailoring vacancy advertisements to local cultural, social, and job market context

• Build internal capacity by working with program and corporate teams to increase understanding of Pacific cultures and appropriate recruitment approaches through training and knowledge sharing

• Contribute to a collaborative Talent Management team, leveraging shared expertise and specialist support to deliver effective attraction outcomes across the region.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in talent acquisition, ideally within international development, with a business degree or similar qualification

• Strong cultural awareness and understanding of the Pacific region, including demonstrated experience living and/or working in the Pacific

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with a wide range of stakeholders

• Highly organised and solutions-focused, with excellent attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage competing priorities under pressure

• Experience using LinkedIn, MS Office, and a candidate applicant tracking system such as Taleo; professional discretion and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
