Job Description

Objectives of Role

The Program Support Officer (PSO) contributes to DT Global’s success by providing operational and administrative support for program management activities within the International Development team. The PSOs will be based at DT Global’s Port Moresby office and will report to program managers based either in Australia or PNG. The PSOs will work closely with the program managers to provide necessary corporate and logistical support to DFAT funded programs.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with program teams to implement all program personnel administration requirements
  • Support personnel contracting, mobilisation, and logistics
  • Check and process claims for payments against contracts.
  • Process and maintain accurate records for all medical and travel insurance claims
  • Maintain annual leave and professional development records for personnel.
  • Track and report on program personnel movements, status of accommodation (rental leases) where premises leased by DT Global Asia Pacific.
  • Provide assistance to other areas of the company as requested.
Selection Criteria Essential Experience and Knowledge

· Relevant tertiary qualifications

Desirable
  • Intermediate and Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills
  • High level of interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills including clear writing skills
  • Willingness to take on a variety of tasks that may be required to ensure efficient operation of the business units
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies, requirements and procedures and use corporate systems (such as travel booking systems)
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as work autonomously
  • Ability to use initiative and make decisions when completing tasks required, ensuring key roles are completed within required time frames
