Support the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) in promoting sustainable development and environmental protection.
Work within the Industry and Economy Division, Resources and Markets Branch, focusing on integrating environmental considerations into economic policies and practices.
Support the Partnership for Action on Green Economy (PAGE) Secretariat by assisting with coordination across five UN agencies and local offices.
Track and monitor country work progress, updating digital systems for work planning and programme management activities.
Implement PAGE outreach activities with partners in PAGE countries.
Provide input for and review programme documents for submission to PAGE governance bodies.
Draft and edit PAGE documents, publications, reports, newsletters, regular updates, social media content, and other communication materials.
Support the organization of meetings, webinars, and workshops, including preparing meeting documents, logistics, and related resources.
Perform other tasks as requested by supervisors.
Qualifications / Special Skills
Recent graduates (within 1 year of graduation) or current students in the final year of an undergraduate or master’s programme.
Fields of study: Economics, Public Policy, Sustainable Development, or a related area.
Must be able to submit a university endorsement upon selection.
