Support the mandate of ESCAP to promote sustainable and inclusive development and regional connectivity in the Asia and Pacific region.
Assist the Centre for Sustainable Agricultural Mechanization (CSAM) in enhancing technical cooperation among ESCAP members and other UN member states.
Support policy-oriented research and analysis, normative support, technical assistance, and capacity building in sustainable agricultural mechanization and technology.
Contribute to the attainment of internationally agreed development goals, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Assist in ongoing projects and provide administrative support.
Support social media outreach and work on presentations.
Consolidate and organize data for various assignments.
Interns work full-time (five days per week, 37.5 hours) under the supervision of a staff member.
Qualifications/Special Skills
Must be enrolled in or have completed a graduate school program (second university degree or higher), or in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
Languages
Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of French is desirable.
