Under the supervision and guidance of the Programme Management Advisor (Nutrition), the Programme Management Officer (Nutrition) will provide support to the implementation of nutrition & food security related activities in alignment with LIFT’s Plan of Action (POA) 2024–2028. The incumbent will assist in coordinating day-to-day programme processes and help follow up on implementation progress. The role contributes to ensuring that activities are carried out in line with agreed plans, established procedures and nutrition-related priorities. It also requires close collaboration across Programme Teams to facilitate the smooth delivery of programme activities
The Programme Management Officer (Nutrition) will provide support for the implementation of nutrition activities in alignment with LIFT’s Strategy 2024–2028 and Plan of Action (POA).
Support the implementation of nutrition & food security-related activities, helping to ensure they follow established project plans, guidance and timelines in close coordination with the supervisor.
Contribute to the preparation and review of annual work plans, budgets and reports, by consolidating information and supporting the technical inputs provided by senior colleagues.
Help follow up on agreed actions, and contribute to the organisation of field missions, workshops and internal coordination meetings involving partners and stakeholders.
Contribute to the integration of nutrition considerations into broader programme planning, ensuring consistency with food security and livelihoods priorities as guided by senior team members.
Support coordination and information flow within and across Programme Teams, helping ensure effective collaboration in the planning and implementation of nutrition activities.
Contribute to stakeholder engagement efforts led by the Programme Management Advisor, by helping gather and organise information, preparing materials, and supporting follow-up actions related to partners and external actors.
Contribute to meeting summaries, coordination notes and follow-up actions, helping maintain clarity, continuity and organised communication across teams.
Help monitor developments in Rakhine, sharing relevant updates internally with the Programme Management Advisor to support their engagement with local actors.
Support communication flows with relevant UNOPS departments, helping ensure information related to programme development and results is channelled internally in a timely and organised manner.
Monitoring, Data, and Reporting
Support monitoring and analysis of project performance indicators related to nutrition outcomes.
Contribute to the consolidation of reports and data submitted by partners.
Prepare brief summaries and progress updates to inform Programme Management Advisor’s reviews and planning discussions.
Help identify patterns in the information received, highlighting observations to the Programme Manager that may inform improvements in implementation.
Contribute to maintaining an updated overview of the context in Rakhine, helping track relevant developments and supporting inputs for the programme’s risk matrix.
Knowledge Sharing and Capacity Development
Participate in the development and dissemination of tools, guidelines, and knowledge products on nutrition & food security programming.
Support documentation of lessons learned, success stories, and case studies for internal and external communication.
Collaborate with the Knowledge Management team to ensure evidence and innovations are captured and shared.
