Job Description
Global Solutions Venture (GSV) – a joint-venture partnership between ZemiTek, LLC and Dexis Consulting Group, seeks an experienced Project Director to support the USAID-funded Global Health (GH) SURGE program. GH SURGE, is a mechanism through which USAID will obtain support services to fill critical staffing gaps. This activity spans all foreign assistance health area objectives as well as cross-cutting health issues such as gender, health systems strengthening, environment, science, and technology.
The Project Director will be responsible for all aspects of the management and administration of the program. In addition, they will be responsible for the technical supervision of all aspects of contract work, including consultant identification and management, dissemination of information, and submission of reports and other contract deliverables. The Project Director is expected to take an active role in organizing consultancies to ensure that the interests of USAID are best served. Additionally, the Project Director will work in close collaboration with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and Contracting Officer in the Office of Acquisitions and Assistance (OAA) in carrying out the project activities. This position is contingent upon award.

Salary Range: Starting at $175,000
Clearance: Ability to obtain a secret clearance

Responsibilities
- Provide oversight for all aspects of GH SURGE implementation and achievement of expected outcomes and objectives.
- Develop solutions to barriers and issues that are impeding the implementation of GH SURGE.
- Maximize efficiencies, both in cost and operationally, in the implementation of GH SURGE.
- Serve in a critical role as liaison and as needed, establish working partnerships with USAID points of contact and host country representatives.
- Maintain professional documentation for projects and deliverables.
- Establish and maintain communication channels with USAID primary points of contact and other designated points of contact with USAID/Washington, USAID Missions, host country ministries or departments, international organizations, and other designated points of contact.
- Execute management processes and methodologies to ensure results are delivered on time and within budget.
- Ensure timely, high-quality, and complete submission of all reporting requirements as specified in the contract.
- Use professional judgment in handling information as it relates to employment personal information and data points.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PhD, or other advanced degree related to health or international
- development).
- A minimum of 12 years of demonstrated experience in international development. A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated successful experience as a senior manager of complex program(s) providing technical assistance in health, nutrition, or population in a developing country.
- Demonstrated knowledge of U.S. Government or international development organization policies and procedures as they relate to international development.
- Well-organized, strong attention to detail, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, anticipate work requirements and solve problems.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Team player, flexible, and proactive.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to obtain a secret clearance
