Duties and Responsibilities
The internship is in the Web Services Section of the News and Media Division of the Department of Global Communications. The section is responsible for the design, development, maintenance, and overall support of the UN’s flagship public internet website www.un.org, and many related sub sites that are managed by the Department of Global Communications (DGC).
Within limits of delegated authority, the intern will be responsible for one or more of the following duties:

Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. Programme.

Applicants should have good knowledge of standard software applications, especially MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Teams.

Languages
English and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat. For this post, fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another UN official language is desirable.
