Duties and Responsibilities
The Unit is looking for interns who wish to gain hands-on experience in the UN newsroom, particularly in the production of daily news, in-depth features and other multimedia products in Spanish.
The intern’s duties will include:

Applicants who are children or siblings of a staff member shall not be eligible to apply for an internship at the United Nations.

Your training, education, advanced coursework or skills should benefit the United Nations during your internship.
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. However, a field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required.

Candidates for the UN Internship Programme are required to cover the cost of travel including visa, accommodation, health insurance and other living expenses for the duration of the internship.

Languages
English or French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.
