1. About the Role
Digital Technology Strategy & Solutions (DTSS) is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Engineering to architect and manage the development of Gavi’s enterprise data platforms, pipelines, and integration services. This role is critical to enabling data-driven decision-making by ensuring the availability, quality, and accessibility of data across systems such as SAP, Salesforce, and Microsoft 365. As the technical lead, you will guide a team of data engineers, work closely with data analysts, product teams, and business units, and oversee the architecture and operation of Gavi’s cloud-based data infrastructure including the evolution of platforms such as Microsoft Fabric and other Azure-based data services. The role places particular emphasis on data modelling, data governance alignment, and high-quality documentation to ensure consistent, trusted, and reusable data assets across the organization.
