The French Development Agency, or AFD, will provide 3.2 million euros (USD4.2 million) to a program that aims to strengthen the administrative and financial management and strategic planning capacities of Palestinian municipalities. The funds will be used for the program’s first phase, which is also supported by the World Bank, KfW, GTZ, Sweden and Denmark. This project phase, which will have a budget of 32 million euros, will be implemented in 132 Palestinian municipalities, the Palestine News Agency reports.
